  • Our custom-made HDPE pipe was chosen for a large water distribution improvement project in Central Oregon

Krah USA is integral to an Infrastructure Modernization Project for an Irrigation District in Central Oregon. We are supplying around 7,500 linear feet of custom-made 78” Profile Wall HDPE pipe, including flange adapters, bends, and tees. This project, expected to be completed by March 2025, will upgrade the current 54” pipe to 78” and replace the open canal with piping, enhancing water conveyance efficiency and reliability for agricultural users . The larger pipe size will enable the Irrigation District's pump station to function at full capacity.  Krah's robust HDPE pipe was chosen for this project due to its durability, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and long lifespan, ensuring a dependable and efficient water conveyance system. This Modernization Project marks a significant advancement towards improved water management, reduced operational costs, and enhanced streamflow. Krah USA is proud to contribute to this vital initiative.

  • Manufacturing 11.9 miles of HDPE pipe, one phase at a time

We are grateful to be a part of yet another water conservation project in Central Oregon. Phase 1 of 4 started last spring (2024) and is set to wrap up in April of 2025. Krah USA will be supplying nearly 𝟭𝟮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 of our HDPE pipe. This 48" pipe is manufactured at our factory in Prineville, Oregon, delivered to the job site and then 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼-𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲. Our pipe is perfect for this new canal system due to its ability to 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩. Krah pipe is also lightweight, easy to install, corrosion, chemical 𝘢𝘯𝘥 impact resistant.   This canal project will end up saving an estimated 32.5 cubic feet per second in water (about 11,083 acre-feet annually). The water saved from this project will then be used during irrigation season for agricultural use.

  • Tailor-made 78" pipe for Central Oregon Highway Extension project

This Highway Extension project in Central Oregon has been underway for years. Krah USA is grateful to have been included in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of this project. We manufactured a 78" diameter HDPE pipe that has been placed underneath the highway. The main canal pipe will pass through our HDPE, carrying raw water across.
