We are seeking a dynamic, technically minded Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between our advanced manufacturing capabilities and the civil engineering community. In this role, you won't just be closing deals; you will be acting as a trusted advisor to consulting engineers, municipalities, project managers, and contractors. You will use your technical expertise to educate the market on the structural superiorities of Krah technology, review project specifications, assist with value-engineering solutions, and drive long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Consultation: Act as the primary technical point of contact for consulting engineering firms, municipal authorities, and contractors. Educate them on Krah pipe design, structural wall technology, and installation advantages.
  • Business Development & Sales: Identify, target, and build relationships with key decision-makers on upcoming water, wastewater, storm water, and industrial projects.
  • Specification Winning: Review project blueprints, RFP documents, and engineering specs. Work directly with civil engineers to get Krah USA specified as an approved or preferred material in the early design phases.
  • Value Engineering: Provide calculations, buoyancy analysis, and structural design support to demonstrate how Krah pipe optimizes project efficiency and longevity compared to legacy materials (RCP, PVC, etc.).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our internal production and estimation teams to ensure technical proposals, quotes, and lead times align perfectly with client expectations.
  • Industry Presence: Represent Krah USA at regional and national trade shows, industry associations (e.g., ASCE, AWWA), and deliver technical "Lunch & Learn" presentations to engineering firms.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. (A combination of equivalent industry experience and a proven sales track record will also be considered).
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or project management within the heavy civil infrastructure, water/wastewater, or underground utilities sector.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings, plan sets, and project specifications. Familiarity with CAD software or structural pipe calculation tools is a major plus.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional presentation skills. You must be equally comfortable giving a technical presentation to a room of PE (Professional Engineer) consultants as you are talking logistics with a site superintendent in a trench.
  • Drive: Self-motivated, highly organized, and thriving in an autonomous environment where your success directly drives company growth.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel [Insert percentage, e.g., 25-50%] to meet with clients, visit project sites, and attend industry events.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary with an attractive performance-based bonus/commission structure.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Opportunities for rapid professional growth and leadership as Krah USA scales.
  • A dynamic, collaborative, and modern work environment.
